Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services offered under the OLAhome brand, including OLA Cloud, OLA Vault, and OLAhome DNS. By using any OLAhome service, you agree to the terms below.

1. Service description

OLAhome provides private digital services focused on privacy and control:

2. Account creation and identification

To activate services, we require only an email address. This email may be of any form and is not used to identify a physical person.

We do not request real names, national identification numbers, physical addresses, or other personally identifiable data.

3. Phone number (Vault only)

For the Vault service, a phone number must be provided. This number is used exclusively if you request account access recovery, as an additional method to confirm your identity.

The phone number is not used for commercial, marketing, or analytics purposes.

4. Payments and subscriptions

Payments are processed through the Stripe platform. OLAhome does not have access to your card details.

Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, without penalties, according to the information provided after payment.

5. OLA Cloud Plan Changes (Upgrade / Downgrade)

Users of the OLA Cloud service can modify their storage plan directly from the account administration page.

Plan upgrade

Upgrading to a higher plan can be performed at any time. After payment confirmation, the new plan becomes active immediately and the account storage limit is automatically updated.

If the plan is changed during an already active billing period:

Plan downgrade

Downgrading to a lower plan is allowed only if the storage currently used in the account is less than or equal to the limit of the selected plan.

If the used storage exceeds the limit of the lower plan, the system will not allow the downgrade until the storage usage is reduced below the selected plan limit.

OLAhome reserves the right to temporarily limit plan changes during infrastructure maintenance operations, temporary network service unavailability, or other technical events outside the direct control of the operator.

6. Technical logs and DNS operation

For the operation of the OLAhome DNS service, temporary technical information may be stored, such as:

This data is used strictly for security, protection, and enforcement of DNS rules, not for behavioral analysis and not for user identification.

7. Service limitations

OLAhome does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability and is not responsible for interruptions caused by maintenance, third-party providers, or network issues.

OLAhome DNS is not an antivirus and cannot prevent all threats present on the internet.

8. Backup and Content Responsibility

OLA Cloud may include technical infrastructure-level backup mechanisms. These backups accurately reflect the state of the user’s data at the time the backup is performed.

If a user uploads files that are already affected by malware, ransomware, or any form of compromise originating from their own device, those files will be stored in the backup in the same state.

OLAhome cannot inspect, modify, or verify the encrypted content of user files and does not assume responsibility for the security of personal devices from which data is uploaded.

Users are responsible for protecting their own devices through antivirus software, security updates, and responsible digital practices.

9. Proper use and prohibited files

To protect the security, integrity, and stability of the OLAhome Cloud infrastructure, certain file types are considered prohibited and may not be stored or distributed through our services.

Such files may be automatically removed without prior notice if detected within a user's storage space.

Examples of prohibited file extensions include, but are not limited to:

This measure is intended to prevent the spread of malware, ransomware, or other cyber threats and to protect all OLAhome Cloud users.

The list of prohibited file types may be updated periodically, depending on the evolution of security threats.

The use of OLAhome services for activities involving intensive P2P / torrent traffic or the distribution, downloading, or sharing of content protected by copyright (movies, TV series, audio materials, software, or other similar files) without legal authorization is strictly prohibited.

This restriction is enforced in accordance with applicable national and international copyright laws, including European Union directives and the principles established by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

In the event that usage patterns indicating a violation of these rules are detected, OLAhome reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend the account, without the obligation to provide additional technical details.

Permanent suspension of the account may result in the termination of the subscription-based contract associated with OLAhome services. In such cases, any amounts paid for the remaining unused period are non-refundable.

10. GDPR rights

Under GDPR legislation, you have the right to request access to, modification, or deletion of data associated with your email address.

You may contact us at any time at contact@olahome.eu.

The exercise of the right to erasure of personal data associated with the account makes it impossible to continue providing OLAhome services. In such cases, the subscription-based contract will be terminated, and access to the services will be disabled.

Termination of the subscription as a result of a data erasure request does not entitle the user to a refund of any amounts paid for the remaining unused period.

11. Changes to terms

OLAhome reserves the right to modify these terms. The updated version will be published on the website.

The user is responsible for periodically reviewing this page in order to stay informed of any updates or changes. Continued use of OLAhome services after such changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
