At OLAhome, privacy is not a slogan. It is the reason these services exist.

We built OLAhome for users who want real control over their data, not platforms that monetize personal information.

OLAhome Commitment

OLAhome does not sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
We do not run advertising through the services we provide, we do not create user profiles, and we do not track your online behavior for marketing purposes.

Your data belongs to you. Period.

What data we collect

We collect only the data necessary for operating the services, processing payments, issuing invoices, and maintaining the security of the infrastructure.

• email address (for account activation and account administration)
• phone number, when requested during the payment process or for certain services
• full name, when provided during the payment or billing process
• billing data, such as country, city, region/state, address, and other information required for invoice issuance and transmission through applicable tax systems
• minimal technical data required for the security, stability, and operation of the services

We do not collect more data than necessary for the purposes above, and we do not use this information for commercial profiling.

How we use data

The collected data is used exclusively for:

• the operation of OLA Cloud, OLA Vault, and OLAhome DNS services
• activation, administration, and delivery of purchased services
• payment processing and subscription management
• invoice issuance and compliance with tax and legal obligations
• security and abuse prevention
• applying user-configured rules (for example: DNS filtering)

We do not use data for behavioral analysis, marketing, or advertising tracking.

Data security and encryption

OLAhome applies technical and organizational measures to protect user data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

For the Cloud service, files are encrypted on the server and in backups using strong encryption algorithms (AES-256). This measure helps ensure that stored data cannot be read directly from storage media or backup copies in the event of unauthorized access to the infrastructure.

For the Vault service, data is protected through end-to-end encryption, meaning that sensitive information is encrypted before storage and can only be decrypted by the end user.

These measures are intended to increase the level of data security and reduce the risks associated with unauthorized access, without affecting the functionality of the provided services.

Technical logs

For the correct operation of the infrastructure, temporary technical logs may exist, such as IP addresses or system events.

This information is retained for limited periods and is used exclusively for technical and security purposes.

Third-party services

Payments are processed through external platforms such as Stripe. OLAhome does not have access to your full card data.

During the payment process, payment processors may collect contact data and billing data required to complete the transaction, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

In addition, for invoice issuance and tax compliance, certain required data may be processed through external invoicing services.

Outside payment processing, invoicing, and technical services strictly necessary for the operation of the platform, OLAhome does not share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Your rights

Under GDPR legislation, you have the right to request:

• access to the data associated with your account
• correction or updating of such data
• complete deletion of your data, to the extent that the law does not require the retention of certain information
• restriction of processing, in the cases provided by law
• objection to certain processing activities, under the conditions provided by law
• the filing of a complaint with the competent personal data protection authority

If you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable law, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) or with the relevant competent authority.
